President thanks int’l community for continued assistance

President Maithripala Sirisena briefed the diplomatic community about the progress of the operations carried out by the Security Forces to strengthen the security situation and said that the situation is 99% secure now.

The President thanked the international community for the cooperation and assistance provided to Sri Lanka at the time of need and urged them to continue to provide economic assistance and lift the adverse travel advisories issued to tourists.
